Torn & Restored Card
This is one of the most visually beautiful illusions utilizing a playing card. There really are no words that can do this justice ... this is a must see!

Ambitious card
The Ambitious Card routine is as old as the hills ... maybe as old as magic itself. A great demonstration of the card relentlessly floating to the top of the deck no matter which way the card is buried into the deck. A classic in card magic w/ as many variations as there are magicians who perform it.

Oil & Water
You ever try to do this ... mix Oil & Water? Like a nice vinagerette ... shake it as you will ... mix and mix and mix ... only to find ... it has it's own mind.
The cards are mixed one by one ... alternating red ... then black ... then red again ... then give it a few seconds ... to find oil & water together again.
There are endless versions to this timeless classic. One of my favorites is 'Can't Be Done Any Slower' by Rene Lavand ... a visually stunning piece of card magic! A set including Torn & Restored Card, Rain Man, and Rene Lavand's Can't Be Done Any Slower would be enough to begin soliciting converts for my new cult following.

Card warp
Card Warp is a great visual illusion where two folded cards are slid within each other. As one card is pushed thru the other ... the card mysteriously inverts and shows the other side. Pushing the card back the other way causes the card to invert back to it's original orientation. Another classic in card magic w/ endless variations. There's even one version where I do the whole thing w/ one card only ... right in MY hand ... and right in YOUR face!

Cards Across
Sixteen cards dealt down to the table ... eight cards for me ... and eight cards for you. You cover your pile w/ your hand ... I remove two imaginary cards from my pack of eight and give them to you to put into your packet. The cards are counted again ... I have only six ... and you now have 10. There are no words to describe this delusion of the mind.

McDonald's Aces
Another great card classic. The four aces are removed from the shuffled deck and set on the table. Twelve other cards are freely chosen and removed. The four aces are dealt face up to the table. Three cards are dealt on top of each. The spectator place there hand on top of one pile. The magician picks up one of the other piles and instantly the ace disappears! The four cards are shown FRONT AND BACK, there is nothing to find! The same effect happens with the second and third aces! When the spectator looks at the pile they've held during the entire effect...the discover all four aces!

Cannibal Queens
This one's not for the squeemish. The four queens join together in a rogue conspiricy to 'eat' the other cards in the deck. One by one ... an adventourous member of the court ventures toward the hungry queens ... never to be seen again. This one's rated R.

Do As I Do
Or is it Do as I Say? It's kinda both with this one ... but I show it all clearly and fairly. The deck is split by you ... one half for each of us ... you pick one ... I pick one ... we swap cards and insert. Re-assemble halves ... spread the deck. Only two cards going the 'other' way ... what two cards do you suppose those would be?

Tossed Out Deck
Just as it states ... a rubber band is wrapped around the deck ... and the deck is tossed out into the crowd. One or more spectators spot a card from fanning the edge of the deck ... and the magician proceeds to divine the selected cards of each spectator. Literally mind altering! This trick is older than your grandfather's father.

Card On ceiling
This is a classic bar trick. Selected card is returned to deck. Deck is freely shuffled and cut. Collected money (the magi's tip) is wrapped around the deck w/ a rubber band. Complete deck is tossed up toward the ceiling ... leaving only the selected card facing downward and pinning the money to the ceiling ... while remainder of deck falls to ground. This is often performed as a 'closer' at end of set of effects ... first the 'passing of the hat' ... then Card on Ceiling.

Any card ... Any Number
You select the card ... it's lost in the deck ... then you name the position in the deck at which you claim it to be. I deal the cards out one by one ... counting as I go ... I turn the card at your number ... your card appears. it's just that simple!

Card to Wallet
The card to 'wherever' plot is hundreds of years old ... likely as old as cards themselves. Hundreds of variations have been devised in it's long history ... to the wallet ... or an envelope ... from playing card to credit card. This is a card magic standard.

Rain Man
My oh my ... you must see this to believe it. You've seen the movie ... you know the characters ... now you gotta see this. A mess of cards which you create ... a handful of predictions from me ... I don't touch the cards ... and one amazing outcome ... yee ha!

Here Then There
One hand ... two cards ... one massive state of confusion. There's just no explanation to this one. As good as they get ... this trick was performed by David Blaine in his first television special (Dallas Cowboy's locker room w/ Emmit Smith). I'm getting goose bumps just writing about it!
