   What Is Your Magic Quotient?
img
Do you remember what a Quotient is from math class? Me neither ... but the good news is that you don't need to remember everything when you can look it up in seconds. So I picked the word Quotient for strange linguistic reasons but it turns out that I've made a good logical choice. The definition of Quotient is 'the end result of a division operation'. In a division operation the top part is the dividend ... and the bottom part is the divisor.

The Magic Quotient division operation is a complex calculation involving many disparate but inversely complementary factors ... each independently influencing each other's independence until they each become inter-dependent. The whole process as it is presented here is currently patented in 417 countries ... and it based on the most current findings in both string and chaos theory. It is shown below in it's most simplified form for the more mathematically inclined students (the rest can just click the button):

Now that we can see the math behind the Magic Quotient it should be crystal clear how all the factors relate. From the formula you can see that 'n' ... the total number of years you've studied magic tends to want to be just a little bit above every other factor in the formula, and 't' ... the average temperature for that period of time ... has a bit of a demure presence but in fact is the most dominant element that figures into the result. The squiggly thing is called pi ... and constantly figures into every mathematical forumula for some unknown reason.

All questions have been internationally recognized and field tested w/ primary attention paid to maximizing postive cognitive response w/ the least possible effort. The patented pseudo nano-randomization algorithm ensures a redundantly unique & virtual magical experience.

Click the button below to determine YOUR Magical Quotient.

Each run of the test will contain ten (10) questions randomly selected from a one hundred (101) question pool. I've taken license to come up w/ my own (multiple) choice options ... but in all cases at least one of the correct answers is among the choices. A passing grade is a minimum of six (6) correct answers. Each run of the test on this site will produce another random 10 questions from the 101 question pool. All failed attempts are reported immediately to the International Magician's Compliance Organization (the IMCO) :-)

Final Notes:
A magic test? Magic's suppossed to be fun and tests aren't fun. Hopefully this one was ... I tried to keep it light and provide as many 'pointers' as I could w/o just giving you the answers outright. If you learned one new thing you're a better human ... and you're welcome!

Of course all that babble about algorithms, complex formulas, patents, and anything being field tested was not at all true and just some crude misdirection while I filled the page past the opening image ... sorry for any confusion it may have caused :-(
